Our Team
Greg Hamilton is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the State of Florida. Raised in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, Mr. Hamilton obtained a BS in Mathematics from Grove City College and a BS in Accounting from the University of South Florida. Prior to opening his practice he served as a Staff Accountant at two Tampa CPA firms. His broad range of corporate experience and teaching expertise, as well as a being a business owner himself, makes him uniquely qualified to relate to his client’s needs and provide targeted business advice. Mr. Hamilton is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accounts (AICPA), the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA), and a Registered Real Estate Broker. Active in his community he served as President of the Brandon Rotary, was an adjunct Professor at the University of Tampa and a Major in the Army National Guard. Mr. Hamilton and his wife of 39 years, Kathy, have two sons who graduated from the University of Florida and reside with their families in Bradenton.
Laura Phillips is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the State of Florida. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and has been in public accounting since 1986. In addition to being a CPA, she is also an Investment Advisor Representative (IAR) with Transamerica Financial Advisors Inc (TFA*). To learn more click here www.pfapro.com. Linda Brandt

Linda Brandt joined Hamilton & Phillips, P.A. in 2002. She graduated summa cum laude from Fayetteville State University with a degree in Accounting. As a military spouse, she experienced frequent moves working with CPA firms in various areas of the country. In her spare time, she is an active member of the US Coast Guard Auxiliary and enjoys patrolling local waterways.
Rose Lesniak has been with Hamilton & Phillips, P.A. since 2003. Her skills as an office manager for more than 27 years with another company make her highly qualified for the roles she plays at Hamilton & Phillips, P.A.. When she isn't busy making sure things run smoothly in the office, she travels at every opportunity and spends time with her Yorkshire Terrier, Brutus.
Carolyn Moore

Carolyn Moore has been with Hamilton & Phillips, P.A. since 2005. Prior to her employment with Hamilton & Phillips, P.A., she worked in the accounting field for more than 15 years in various positions. She enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and long walks during her time away from the office.
Dustin Orr
CPA, Audit / Taxation
Dustin Orr is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the State of Florida. He joined Hamilton and Phillips, P.A. in 2010. He graduated from the University of South Florida with degrees in Accounting and Finance. He has also obtained an MBA in Forensic Accounting. Prior to public accounting, Dustin worked in the retail and commercial sales industries. Outside of work, Dustin plays ice hockey, hunts, and all those other outdoor guy activities.
Stacey Phillips

Stacey Phillips has been with Hamilton & Phillips, P.A. since 2006. She graduated from the University of South Florida with degrees in Management and Accounting. She began initially processing personal tax returns and now prepares a large percentage of corporate returns. She is an avid hockey fan but also enjoys going to baseball games and traveling
Rachel Santana

Rachel Santana joined Hamilton & Phillips, P.A. in 1998. She graduated from the University of South Florida with a degree in Accounting. Prior to working for Hamilton & Phillips, P.A., she worked as an accounting manager in the banking and investment industry. Rachel’s area of expertise is personal tax preparation and when her taxing days are done, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, outdoor activities, and traveling.
Laura Thompson

Laura Thompson was employed by Donald Pate, EA before joining Hamilton & Phillips, P.A. in 1997 when Don's firm was acquired by Hamilton & Phillips, P.A. She graduated from the University of Alabama with a degree in Accounting before earning her MBA from Samford University. After 19 years of living in the Tampa Bay area, she relocated to Columbia, SC, where she continues to work remotely for our firm. Laura enjoys spending time with her children, reading, and walking whenever she gets the chance.
Elvira Weaver

Elvira Weaver joined Hamilton & Phillips, P.A. as an Enrolled Agent (EA) in 1997 when Hamilton & Phillips, P.A. acquired the company of Donald Pate, EA. She had been employed by Mr. Pate since 1991. Originally from Illinois, she moved to Florida with her husband and two young children in 1974. Now widowed, she enjoys reading, writing, movies, and spending time with her friends. Her short stories have appeared in various magazines.
